Before Prom

PROM!! PROM!!
These were the first word that came into my mind yesterday!!  Well, first because it was the prom day and second, it just did. Whatever!!
For the morning, I wasn’t really that excited. We went to a salon and had my fingernails cleaned. I also had my foot spa there. I love my feet after because the sole, it was like blushing. Of course, they kinda put a foot blush.
When I arrived home, I wasn’t really that anxious about the prom. It was around 12 and I felt sleepy. So I took a nap. I didn’t expect that I would dream! When someone woke me up, I was ‘oh my’. I got ready and went to another salon, this time, for my hair and make-up. That’s when I really felt that ‘yeah! Tonight’s the prom’.
When we entered, we still have to wait for like half an hour because the person that will do my hair and make-up is still tending someone. I didn’t really think about the prom. Why should I?
So it was now my turn to be ready. A foundation was put in my face and it was so thick that I look so white. Many make-up paraphernalia were put into my face. I couldn’t have a good view of what was doing to me because the make-up kit is blocking the mirror. After the make-up, I was asked to change into my gown.
Now, with my brown colored elegant gown, I went into the chair. The hairdresser asked me what I want for my hair. I just told him I want to be simple; flowing. That’s what happened, due to the fact that I have wavy hair, he still have to iron it. After minutes of ironing, I then saw my appearance. Since I wasn’t wearing y glasses, I have to go closer to the mirror.
I saw my reflection. ‘is this really me?’ was the first thought. It seemed to be a different girl, a more mature one and a lady. I waited for the Taxi inside the salon. When it was already there, I went out. People were staring at me but I didn’t care. Now, I’m on my way to the EVENT!!
