We Are One

(This could be one of my most serious blog posts here. I made this because of the “End of the World” that many people actually said. )

Global warming, that is the problem that all of us living things are facing right now. I firs encountered this when I was in Grade 5. I addressed it as Global Warning. Yes, I really don’t know the real meaning of this one. I just define it as something that us humans must watch out for. Now, through the increasing means for us to know this, my knowledge about this increased.

In the Bible, the Earth experienced the Great Flood. This is what God the Father did to ‘punish’ all sinners. Many died, only those animals and the family of Noah who were in the Ark the survived. After the Flood, God promised that never again would He let a Great Flood to happen. As a sign of this one, every after a rain, we could see the rainbow. Being a Christian, I believe that God the Father doesn’t want a second Great Flood to actually happen. But, if you’ve seen the movie 2012, there was actually one. Is there a second Great Flood that God will do again?

In my opinion, if there would be a second great flood, it will be our fault. The cause would be the Global Warming. Right now, many islands are sinking because many icebergs are melting. For example, Cagayan de Oro City is located near the shores. Experts say that when the water would be too high, there’s a great possibility that Cagayan de Oro would definitely be erased in the map of the Philippines. I know that melting of the icebergs is like natural. Too much isn’t.

As a student blogger, I know that this blog post won’t be that creative to you. However, please listen to me, to us young ones on which people see us the future. Global warming cannot be stopped but can be prevented. Our Ozone layer is slowly thinning. That’s why Global Warming is more intense that before. Let’s do things that could prevent it from worsening.

This March 27 is the Earth Hour. The least we can do is to turn of the light of our homes, offices and other areas. This is to conserve energy and also to show our participation in caring for our Planet Earth. Global Warming is not just a problem of one race or nationality only. it is the problem of all of us that are born in this Planet. Let’s be one in taking care of our beloved planet, Earth.

High School :)) Freshie, Sophie and Junior life

Third year yo! :)) yes, I am a third year student. And I’m kinda sad but happy. Why? Well, this is it.

When I was still a freshman, our classroom was situated in the first floor. Our only neighbors were Berchmans and Xavier. We were like out from the other sections. Because of this, I really had only a few friends. Most of them are only my classmates. But this did not hinder me to have a great first year life.

When you’re in first year, you can do many crazy things that the upper classmen can’t. Like for example, when you join in a club and it needs an interview or audition, it’s like ok for you to be embarrassed. You’re just first year and they will think that you’re still innocent and all those stuff.

Another is that you can have many crushes (aminin people). some of the upperclassmen told some of us that it’s really one of the rewards of being a freshie. When you’re in the second year, you can still have a crush on the people in 3rd and 4th years. I third year, you still have a choice in the 4th year. But being in the fourth year? Nah, you’re choice is only in the 4th year. If you’ll have a crush in the lower levels, some people would think that you’re a corrupting minor.

When I was in first year, I’ve always thought of accelerating the time. May of us really do. Just then that I realized that being in first year is one of the best parts of high school. It’s like you’re stage to accept high school and learn it’s ways.

So second year and now it’s located in the fourth floor. so at first, it was like tiring to go up to the fourth floor. we really wished that there was an elevator. Whew! Actually, in second year I had a great time. In the first year, I was like pressured to reach the perceptions of the teachers about us or individually. In second year, due to the fact that I belonged now to the Gen Sec, I was like ok, no more pressure like first year.

For me, second year is the most relaxing year. Literally, I mean it. It was the year that I was an honor student for all quarters without actually putting too much pressure in myself. When you compare the lessons of second year and third year, second year is much easier than third year. Some of the lessons were easily taken and passed. Except for the time that the lessons were little bit complicated.

Second year if I’ll name it is the year of Success and Excellence. We won almost all of the competitions that we joined. That’s because of our teamwork and the support of our beloved moderator.

Third year, my current year level, exact opposite of second year. Wanna know why? A simple proof. We never won a competition, like ALL class competitions for our year.

I really can’t say that it’s because of we didn’t do our best. There were many competetions on which we really did our best yet we failed. One of the best example is The Congo and the Geom Dance. We really did our best about this but some people really don’t get the art that we want to portray (DUH?!)

And now we’re near the end of the third year. We still need to meet some deadlines and pressure. Gosh, time went so fast. Now, I dread those times in which I hope that I’m already in fourth year. I just realized how fun high school is. It’s really true, high school is the best 4 years of your life (3 years for me).

Unforgettable section : MIKI

I can still remember the first time that I entered the classroom. There was a pool of water near our seats. All of the armchairs have names on it. I saw mine and it was at the back part. My first rowmates were Eman, Kurt and Kris. And the rest that happened is super unforgettable.

Yes, that was the first day of school. Amazing? I can still remember what actually happened. The introductions, awkward moments and getting to know stage. Meeting new people and adjusting is actually not so new to me in high school but I guess this one is unique.

Being in third year is like a fulfillment for me. I survived the adjusting year in high school which is first year and the next year, 2nd year. I’ve always thought of what will happen to me when I’ll go to third year. Of course I’ve heard of the prom, projects and yes, lots of assignments. But I never thought that it would be this busy.

As the months passed by, I’ve learned to interact with my classmates. Most of the projects were by group so I need to deal with people. One of the biggest project I guess was the movie making. Even though it was kind of tiring, I had lots of fun. I knew about my groupmates more. I saw the better person in them as we took some scenes.

Then competitions by competitions, we competed. As this passed by, we grew into a better person. We learned the meaning of hardwork and patience. To practice with great effort and get the deserving things we should have. Even though we never won, we are always CHAMPIONS BY HEART. The people’s good opinion about our performance is enough for us to know that we performed very well and we satisfy them.

And of course, friendship surrounded our whole class. At first, I never thought that the boys in our class will ever be close to one another. Yes, they also have close friends in other sections. Yet, they developed a bond between them. They were some of the people who makes our class laugh. They say this corny jokes then they will have their trademark reactions. :))

The girls became close also. Those people that I thought were not nice turned out to be so nice. It proved to me that first impressions do change. Yes, they could be kikay sometimes but if you know them better, they’re more than that. They are those who want to pass the class and have dreams.

We are diverse and that’s what makes us unique. Whatever happens, we’ll always and forever be unique. 3-St. Paul Miki, a class I’ll never ever forget !! :)

Nonsense Thing

There’s nothing in my mind right now
But I’m writing anyhow
I wish an idea would pop out of my mind
Trying to search and write what I could find.

I’ve heard the news last night
As the moon was shining so bright
I was just turning on the kitchen light
When I heard the dogs fight.

I searched the net for topics
But I found myself looking at pics
Then my phone beeped and there was a text
Asking my opinion on a broken heart to fix.

I went on my way and got a paper
My family was curious on what I was doing
But I did not let them know to be fair
For they did not told me what they were thinking.

I bet you don’t understand what I’m writing
I guess it’s time wasting
Told you there’s nothing that I could find
From the deepest part of my mind.

Now I congratulate you
For reading up to this point
I hope this’ll give you a feeling
That you’re reading a nonsense thing.

*So I made this one during class. :)) Peace to our teacher. There's nothing actually that's in my mind when I made this. So far, I think this is nonsense. :) I hope you'll like reading this. xD*

Barely 2 weeks before EXAMS !!
